A July ‘63 press photo shows dancer Liz Renay hugging her 19-year old daughter: Brenda, after being released from a California prison; where she served a 27-month term for a perjury conviction related to (boyfriend) Mickey Cohen’s tax evasion case.. More than a decade later, both women would tour together as history’s first-ever Mother/Daughter striptease act!

She would later retire to become an ordained minister. In 1987, she moved to Maui, Hawaii. Here, she would become a pastor at a popular resort, and preside over 1,500 wedding services!
