Which opened on Broadway in the mid-1960’s, modelled after vintage Burlesque productions from an earlier era.. It proved so successful that the show was still staged (as late) as the 1980s..

Daughter of a Chinese Episcopalian bishop, she fled the Communists in 1949 and came to the United States where she entered Carnegie Tech. During her senior year, she taught stage movements at Pennsylvania College for Women. And following graduation, appeared on Broadway in ‘The King and I’..
