Harold Minsky was the adopted son of Abe Minsky.. In 1952, he came to Vegas via Reno, Nevada; where he staged a show entitled: “Minsky University”, starring Sherry Britton.. When the ‘DUNES’ casino opened in May of ‘55, the owner contracted Minsky to stage elaborate Burlesque shows; which would enjoy a 6-year run at the casino.. Harold and his wife Dardy Orlando eventually moved to Vegas, and resided there ‘til he passed away in 1977.
